In case you missed out, Megan and I were whisked away to Vakkaru Maldives, a tropical island resort in the heart of the Indian Ocean. It was an amazing occasion to celebrate the pre-launch of my third book, Bonjour Riviera, my new Resort Collection with Poca & Poca and the debut of my new BLUE plush toy – what a magical way to start the new year!
There were crystal clear turquoise waters as far as the eye could see, palm trees and powdery soft white sand. It was the most magical setting I could have ever dreamed of!
With the help of The Magnolia Creative Collaborations, we held a very special reading of Bonjour Riviera with all the children on the island. My fingers were crossed so tightly while I watched the reading. I crossed my heart and hoped that all the children would love hearing about my adventure in the French Riviera… and they DID!! Listening to everyone’s wonderful comments about my book and watching the little children listen so attentively with their blue Claris plush BFFS was my absolute highlight of this event!
